Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle.
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
My therapeutic style is an integration of a few different therapeutic approaches with a strong focus on Existential Analysis (EA) for it’s aim to assist people in finding meaning and fulfillment in their lives through discovering and living in alignment with one’s authentic self. A process that requires self-exploration and a re-connecting with one’s intuitive voice.
I use aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for the purpose of understanding the connection between our mind, the emotions our thoughts illicit, and the behaviors that stem from such. CBT aids in increasing self awareness and therefore offering the foundation for change.
I also use Narrative Therapy in order to identify and acknowledge how a client’s life story and social context has shaped their identity, the lens through which they see themselves and the world, as well as their experience of life.
My practice incorporates elements of mindfulness, nature therapy, and spirituality, in order to create a holistic approach to healing.
Treatment plans are based on the specific needs of each individual client.
I stand by the belief that the most important component of the therapeutic process is the cultivation of a collaborative, respectful, safe, and trusting relationship with each client.
My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and professional environment for healing, as the only way out of suffering is by walking through it. It’s honour for me to be able walk by your side and guide you through the journey of healing and self- discovery.
I promise you, freedom awaits you on the other side.
